ICML MLE is both an engineering- and management-level certification for professionals providing lubrication program engineering and analysis targeting reliability and asset management. The MLE is mapped to the Management of Lubricated Mechanical Assets standard (ICML 55), which is focused on the development, implementation and management of world-class lubrication programs, and designed to guide organizations on a path toward ISO 55001 certification.

About Brian
A 13-year veteran of the wind industry, Brian Burks received his B.S. in Engineering Technology from Western Carolina University before working in Wyoming wind farm operations for four years. Brian joined AMSOIL more than nine years ago and is heavily involved in the growth and diversification of the AMSOIL Industrial and Wind divisions. Brian works with AMSOIL Industrial engineering and tribological staff to help operators identify the applications and practices most likely to increase efficiency and profitability in their operations. Brian is also recognized by the Society of Tribologist and Lubrication Engineers (STLE) as a Certified Oil Monitoring Analyst (OMA I) and as one of only 1,300 people worldwide to have earned the rank of Certified Lubrication Specialist (CLS). Brian applies his knowledge and experience to create lasting solutions for complex wind energy problems. He also works directly with the American Wind Energy Association (AWEA) to educate stakeholders on recommended oil flushing procedures, helping establish lubrication best practices for the entire industry.
